Sunday plans ruined by a scooter driver

Last Sunday September 20 I was hit by a scooter. The driver hit me and run.
I was on my bicycle on my way to the park. I heard the sound of a scooter. At the moment he passed me I felt that my ankle was hit.
The pain was intense. The pain and fear of what could be wrong with my ankel confused me. But at the same time I needed first to focus to not crash onto a parked car and to take a glimpse of the driver. He was too fast speeding. I couldn't read the license number. The scooter was light blue and the guy wore a blue shirt with white stripes, vertical
This all went so fast. I couldn't control my bicycle any longer because of the terrible pain. I fell on the side walk.
An older man, who I just passed stopped and helped me. He said that he also was almost hit by this guy. He went to the gas station nearby to call the police
What could they do? I couldn't give them the license number.

I thanked the older man for his help. My brother came to help to get home, but the police ensisted to bring me.
My brother helped me with my ankle and said to wait to see a doctor. I agreed. After the ice pack and bandage I tried to stand up and tried to do a few steps.
I didn't want to stay at home for the rest of the day. It was too beautiful outside. So I waited and one hour later I was among my friends in the park. They were surprised to see me like that.

Later, back at home, I got angry. Angry at those people who cross the speed limit, who injure others and leave them with their pain and damage.
For the safety of other people scooters and mopeds should be secured from increasing the speed limit.
Ever since this happened I get anxious when I am on my bicycle and hear a scooter coming nearer
